The internationally active Sarna Kunststoff Holding AG, listed on the Zurich Stock Exchange, develops and manufactures plastics products for sophisticated applications in construction / civil engineering and in the automotive industry. 
The company was founded in 1958. A major milestone in its development was the supply of 42,000 square meters of roofing material with the designation Sarnafil for the Expo 64 in Lausanne. The product has undergone continuous development since then, and the company proceeded to become Switzerland's most important vendor of polymer sealing membranes.
