REE, Red Electrica de Espana,
spécialiste du transport de l'électricitéREE, basé
à Madrid, est le pionnier mondial du transport de l'électricité
: il gère les systèmes de transmission d'électricité
sur le territoire espagnol, en contrôlant la majeure partie du réseau
national d'infrastructures de haute tension. Fort de sa main-mise au niveau
national, le Groupe a d'autre part conclu divers contrats internationaux,
notamment avec la France (EDF) et le Maroc.Et ce n'est pas tout : REE a
mis en place la société Red Electrica Telecomunicaciones
qui, à travers un réseau de fibres optiques, permet la transmission
de voix et de données aussi bien en Espagne qu'à l'étranger,
grâce à une connexion avec la France, le Portugal et le Maroc.Sans
oublier ses performances en conseil : REE a ainsi permis l'amélioration
du système électrique en Syrie par l'installation de solutions
logicielles de gestion.Enfin, le groupe déploie une stratégie
efficace d'internationalisation en Europe de l'Est, en Méditerranée,
en Amérique Latine et en Afrique du Nord via sa filiale Red Electrica
Internacional. Citons par exemple la prise de participation dans Redusur,
qui a construit et gère le réseau électrique national
au Pérou.

is the leading power transmission company in Spain and it is responsible
for management of the technical aspects of the Spanish electricity system.
It owns most of the Spanish high voltage transmission grid and it is the
only company in Spain which specialises in the transmission of electrical
energy.
As the company responsible
for management of the transmission grid, RED ELÉCTRICA has been
assigned responsibility for development and improvement of the grid’s installations.
It handles maintenance and improvements in accordance with uniform and
coherent criteria. It manages the transit through Spain of electricity
which is traded between foreign systems and which must pass through the
networks of the Spanish electricity system and it also arranges access
to these networks by third parties so that all traders in this sector can
use the grid under uniform conditions and without discrimination.
