activities are those of a holding Company. Its main divisions are as follows:
Sonae Distribuicao (food and non-food retail); Sonae Imobiliaria (shopping
centers development and management, leasing & rentals); Sonae. Com
(telecom and internet contents); Sonae Turismo (hotels, resorts, travel,
leisure, fitness and sports); Sonae capital (joint ventures, venture capital,
construction, engineering, services, transport and automotive) and Modelo
Continente (super stores and supermarkets). The Group operates in Portugal,
Brazil, Spain, Italy and other European countries.
