Vivacon AG is a leading intermediary in the German residential real estate market and specializes in marketing and managing large residential real estate portfolios. In 2007, the company acquired more than 17,000 residential units. In June 2007, the Company sold its largest residential property portfolio so far with more than 5,600 units and a transaction volume of around EUR 220m. End of December 2007 the total number of residential units owned by Vivacon AG amounts to more than 7,000 units. Another 4,400 units are held by the joint venture company WIAG, founded by Vivacon AG and Forum Partners. 

Vivacon AG is the German market leader in the redevelopment and sale of listed residential properties to private investors. Sales are structured under ground lease terms, i.e. the buildings are legally separated from the ground. Following the disposal, the Company remains the owner of the freehold and thereby generates long-term ground lease earnings. In addition, Vivacon AG markets exclusive designer apartments, styled by Philippe Starck under the trademark yoo Deutschland. Vivacon AG was founded 10 years ago in Cologne and now employs over 100 people with offices in many mayor German cities. In 2007, the company generated a transaction volume of more than EUR 500 mn and achieved a net income of more than EUR 50m.
