The Group's principal activities are the provision of banking and financial services, including operations in the following sectors: private clients, private investments, corporate clients, structured financing, major clients and abroad and capital market investment. The Group includes three banks: Berliner Bank, a universal bank active in Berlin/Brandenburg, the rest of Germany and abroad; Berlin-Hannoversche Hypothekenbank, a special financial institution, functioning as a property bank and partner to the public authorities; and Landesbank Berlin, a regional bank with focus on Berlin and Brandenburg.
