Berlin-Hannoversche Hypothekenbank AG, commonly known as Berlin Hyp, is a German mortgage bank that offers traditional mortgage lending. The Bank’s partners are national and international investors, housing societies, real estate funds, capital investment companies and other institutional investors, as well as building companies and developers. Berlin Hyp offers financing for residential or mixed use properties, retail, office and selected management real estate, as well as logistics real estate in central transport locations. In addition to individual transactions, it also finances complete real estate portfolios through its wholly owned subsidiary, Berlin Hyp Immobilien GmbH, consolidated in 2008. Further services offered by the Bank are mortgage bonds and derivatives. It has operations in five German cities, in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic. The Bank is a part of LBBH Group and a 90.38%- owned subsidiary of Landesbank Berlin AG.
