Zaklady Miesne SA (Beef-San SA) is a Poland-based company engaged in the
meat processing industry. The Company specializes in the animal slaughter
and the production of meat products. Its main activities include the production
of processed meat-based foods, as well as wholesale and retail distribution
of its products. The Company’s product portfolio includes such items as
hams, sausages, canned meat, fats, frozen and fresh beef, as well as pork
and veal quarters. It is the parent Company of a capital group, which as
of December 31, 2009, included Carpatia Meat Sp. z o.o., Duet Sp. z o.o.,
AJPI Sp. z o.o. in liquidation, and indirectly Myslaw Partner S.A. In February
2010, the Company sold its stake in AJPI sp. z o.o.
