ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER 2008 FINANCIAL RESULTS
Mountain View, Calif.
– Actel Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTL) today announced net revenues of $54.8
million for the first quarter of 2008, up 6 percent from the fourth quarter
of 2007 and up 13 percent from the first quarter of 2007.
Non-GAAP net income,
which excludes stock-based compensation, option restatement expenses, and
other nonrecurring adjustments, was $2.9 million for the first quarter
of 2008 compared with $2.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2007 and $2.1
million for the first quarter of 2007. Non-GAAP earnings were $0.11 per
diluted share for the first quarter of 2008 compared with $0.10 for the
fourth quarter of 2007 and $0.08 for the first quarter of 2007.
Including stock-based
compensation, option restatement expenses and other adjustments in accordance
with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Actel reported net
income of $0.2 million, or $0.01 per diluted share, for the first quarter
of 2008 compared with a net loss of $1.3 million, or ($0.05) per basic
share, for the fourth quarter of 2007 and net loss of $0.7 million, or
($0.03) per basic share, for the first quarter of 2007.
