UMECO plc is a leading international provider of value-added distribution services and composite materials to the aerospace & defence industries. Products supplied include aerospace components, composite materials and chemicals, and outsourcing services include direct line feed systems, kitting and stock/supplier management systems. 
The majority of these products and services are supplied to major customers
including Rolls-Royce plc, BAE SYSTEMS, British Airways, Smiths Industries,
Goodrich Aerospace, Bombardier, Lockheed Martin, and the UK's Ministry of
Defence.
The Group is managed through three divisions: Components; Chemicals; and Repair
and Overhaul, and had turnover in the year to March 2003 of £181 million.
