Park Group plc was first established in 1967 when current executive chairman, Peter Johnson, founded a Christmas hamper business as part of his family's butchery chain. In 1969, Park Hamper Company was incorporated and a pattern of growth through skilful management and successful acquisition grew the business into the major player in the weekly cash savings business.
