The Group's principal activity is renting powered access equipment. Powered access equipment are used to provide temporary aerial access. It has applications in industrial repair and maintenance, construction, telecommunications, outside broadcasting, sign erection and highway maintenance. The Group operates in the United Kingdom and overseas. The Group operates a fleet of approximately 24,500 machines from a network of 115 depots in the Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, the UK and the Middle East. On 01-April-2008, the Group completed the acquisition of The Platform Company (Holdings) Limited (The Platform Company).
