IAF Group plc ("IAF") is a fully-listed company on the London Stock Exchange, quoted under "Other Financials". Established in 1987 and listed in 1994, IAF's traditional business has specialised in finance and investment transactions in a number of capital-intensive areas, but with a particular emphasis on aviation.  Acting as lessor, equity investor or packager IAF has traditionally undertaken transactions requiring front-end expenditure with long asset lives providing revenue generating potential and strong cash flow for many years.  The company is known for its cross border expertise. The current depression in the aviation market and the further impairment of asset values following the tragic events of September 11th 2001 have focussed management's attention on cash flow generation from existing assets. It operates with a small head office staff from modern offices in Grafton Street in London's West End.  The founder of IAF, David Massie, remains as its Executive Chairman and, together with family and associated interests, accounts for some 42.7% of the issued share capital.
