The Group's principal activities are the exploration and production of oil and gas in the United Kingdom. The Group aims to increase its oil and gas reserves primarily through exploration and development drilling. The Group has gasfield offshore operations called the Hatfield Moors and Hatfield West gas located in Doncaster and Edinburgh. The Group also operates the Crosby Warren oilfield located near Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire and wherein gas are produced with the oil and sold by direct pipeline. The Group also has coal mine operation in Hem Heath.
