The Davis Service Group Plc is engaged in textile maintenance business in Europe. The activities of The Davis Service Group Plc are undertaken by separate operating companies, such as The Sunlight Service Group, Spring Grove Services (Ireland) Limited and Sophus Berendsen Group. The Company has two segments, namely textile maintenance and clinical solutions and decontamination. The Company provides service solutions to source, clean and maintain the textiles that its customers need to keep their operations running, but which may be non-core to their activities. On December 30, 2009, it has acquired the Norwegian and Swedish mat service businesses of ISS and on January 4, 2010, the Company also acquired Klarner, a German workwear business.
