The Group' principal activity
is the provision of leasing and factoring services to financial institutions,
commercial entities and other financial operators. Other activities include
property management and other financial services. It operates only in Italy
through a network of 4,900 offices for leasing activities and of 7,000
offices for factoring activities. The group has six fully consolidated
subsidiaries including Mercantile Leasing Spa, acquired in 2004. The Group
acquired the 99.74% of Bipielle Investimenti in February 2006.
