Banca Carige SpA provides its services throughout Italy via an integrated network of banking branches, insurance offices, automated teller machines, the Internet and telephone banking. The Banca Carige Group is comprised, among others, of Cassa di Risparmio di Savona SpA, Cassa di Risparmio di Carrara SpA, Banca del Monte di Lucca SpA and Banca Cesare Ponti SpA, all of which offer banking services; Carige Asset Management SGR SpA, which is a savings management company; Carige Assicurazioni SpA, which specializes in personal injury and damage insurance, and Carige Vita Nuova SpA, which provides life insurance. Genova, 25 July 2011 – Fitch Ratings has today downgraded Banca Carige’s Long-term Issuer Default
Rating (IDR) from ‘A’ (with outlook ‘stable’) to ‘A-’ (with outlook ‘stable’). The Short-term IDR
changed from ‘F1’ to ‘F2’.
