Honkarakenne Oyj is a
Finland-based company engaged in the design and construction of specialty
wooden log homes. It operates under the brand name Honka, and provides
timber-constructed houses, using Nordic pinewood. The Company’s offer includes
custom-made, classic, modern and gallery home designs, as well as separated
logs, used as a building material, including round, planed, laminated,
multi-laminated and cross-laminated logs. Honkarakenne Oyj operates two
mills, one in Karstula, which is the main facility that manufactures round
logs and sawn goods, and contains the logistics center of the Company and
one in Alajarvi, which manufactures all the laminated logs for Honka homes.
Honkarakenne Oyj is operational through an international network, with
offices in Europe, Canada, the United States, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia,
Lebanon and South Korea. It has three subsidiaries: Honka Blockhaus GmbH,
based in Germany, Honkarakenne Sarl, based in France and Honka Japan Inc,
based in Japan.
