FTSEurofirst 80 index provides market professionals with a credible
new benchmark for Eurozone equity investing that more closely reflects
the performance in the broader market.
It
allows market participants to benchmark and trade an expanded universe
of blue chip equities listed only on exchanges in the Eurozone's largest
and most liquid markets.
The
index comprises the 60 largest companies by market capitalisation in the
FTSE Eurobloc Index, and 20 additional companies selected for their size
and sector representation.
