The
Group's principal activities are the generation and distribution of electrical
energy throughout Austria and the neighbouring countries.The Group's activities
are carried out through two divisions: Electricity sales and Grid segment
which relates to transmission of electricity and other related activities.
Grid facilitates the supra regional exchange of energy between producers
and consumers and serves to ensure the stable provision of energy to the
underlying distribution grids. Eco-Electricity segment has been discontinued
with effect from October 2006.
