Weda Bay Minerals Inc (WDA) is a Canadian base metals exploration and development company focused on it's world class nickel and cobalt laterite project on the island of Halmahera in Indonesia. The project is held under a Contract of Work between the Government of Indonesia and PT Weda Bay Nickel being a special purpose Indonesian company owned 90% by WDA's wholly owned subsidiary and 10% by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, a publicly listed mining company majority owned by the Government of Indonesia.
