NCE Petrofund (Petrofund) is a Canadian royalty trust that acquires and manages a balanced portfolio of oil and gas producing properties in Western Canada. Founded in 1988, Petrofund is one of the oldest publicly traded royalty trusts in the country and the first Canadian oil and gas royalty trust to list on a U.S. stock exchange. Petrofund’s head office is in Calgary, Alberta. 
Petrofund was created to provide investors with monthly cash distributions through investments in oil and gas producing assets. The Trust’s business model focuses on property and corporate acquisitions, as well as the development of low to medium risk oil and gas reserves. This model provides a continuous income stream for unitholders and encourages stability in distributions.
The Trust’s management team has worked together for over eight years, and together with its skilled team of geologists, engineers and corporate administrators, has grown the Trust’s production volumes from 300 boe/d to its current level.
