Electrohome holds a 30.5% interest in Mechdyne Corporation which operates as Fakespace Systems. Fakespace is the largest international company exclusively in the advanced visualization marketplace. Electrohome also owns a 5.7% interest in Immersion Studios Inc., which produces specialty digital interactive cinema.

On April 1, 2003, Fakespace merged with Mechdyne Corporation to become the largest international company exclusively in the advanced visualization marketplace. The merged company will be headquartered in Marshalltown, Iowa with global office locations in; Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; Novi, Michigan, USA; Leicestershire, U.K.; Paris, France; and Frankfurt, Germany.
In addition, Electrohome has a smaller investment in Immersion Studios Inc. of Toronto, an entertainment-based digital cinema business.
