million ounces of gold in 2002 at a total cash cost of $177 per ounce.

$2 billion development plan is comprised of four projects: Alto Chicama
in Peru, Cowal in Australia, Veladero in Argentina and Pascua-Lama in Chile
and Argentina. The four projects, projected to come into production between

annual production at an average cash cost of $125 an ounce over the first
