RESILUX N.V. is a Belgian company by origin, specialized in the production and sales of PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate) preforms. These preforms are blown into PET bottles by bottling companies, to be filled with water, soft drinks, edible oils, milk, beer, etc.
The RESILUX product-range consists of around 60 different types of preforms, as well as 20 types of bottles for one-way and multiple use. The range is divided into the product-segments of water, soft drinks, detergents, and edible oils.
RESILUX operates in a number of regions, each with their own particular growth dynamics for the company:
The European Union where the substitution of PVC and glass by PET is continuing, in particular in the water, beer, juice and milk product segment.
Central and Eastern Europe where the growth in the drink market is opening up prospects for PET and where substitution effects could also play a part. 
The United States of America which is the outstanding market where new applications are developed and put on the market. 
Other regions, in particular North Africa, Middle East, Central and South America.
RESILUX is one of the most outstanding companies in the preform market. In the first instance this is due to the strategic focus of the company, in which the global spread of risk and maximum market flexibility are central. In this respect, a production company, Resilux Ibérica Packaging S.A, was set up in Spain in June 1997. 
In the second place, the strong position of RESILUX is due to a very high level of productivity, which is the result of its technological leadership. Production is highly automated and production technology has to a large extent been optimised in house. Part of RESILUX's expertise is protected by patents and licences.
