RTL
Group is the leading European entertainment network, with interests in
38 television channels and 32 radio stations in ten countries and content
production throughout the world. The television portfolio of Europe's largest
broadcaster includes RTL Television in Germany, M6 in France, Five in the
UK, the RTL channels in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Croatia and
Hungary, Ren TV in Russia and Antena 3 in Spain. RTL Group's flagship radio
station is RTL in France, and it also owns or has interests in other stations
in France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Luxembourg. RTL
Group's content production arm, FremantleMedia is one of the largest international
producers outside the US. Each year, it produces more than 10,000 hours
of programming in 22 countries.

Group Board Changes
(Luxembourg,
10 December 2007 - RTL Group today acknowledges the resignation of Gunter
Thielen and Ewald Walgenbach from its Board of Directors with effect as
from 31 December 2007. The resignations follow changes in the Bertelsmann
AG Executive Board.
Gunter
Thielen has been a member of the RTL Group Board since 2002, Ewald Walgenbach
since 2000. The Board thanks both of them for their contribution in building
RTL Group's strong position and for their loyal services as members of
the Board of Directors.
The
RTL Group Board coopted Hartmut Ostrowski (49), designated Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer of Bertelsmann AG. Replacing Mr. Thielen, he will
be joining the RTL Group Board as non-executive director as from 1 January
2008 and as well become a member of the Nomination and Compensation Committee.
His appointment will be presented at the next shareholders meeting for
ratification.

GROUP to expand its TV activities in Russia (22/11/07 17:52 CET)
Luxembourg,
22 November 2007 - RTL Group, the leading European entertainment network,
today announced that it has signed an agreement with Luxembourg-based Continental
Finance Group S.A. (CFG) to build up a joint venture for the production,
operation and distribution of thematic, non-terrestrial TV channels in
Russia and in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
According
to the agreement, RTL Group will purchase 50 per cent of the shares of
Content
Union S.A. (CUSA) in which CFG already contributed its four own produced
Russian thematic channels, called Russkiy Illusion (Russian movies), Illusion
Plus (international classic movies), Detskiy (children's channel) and Zoo
Park (animal channel). These channels are also distributed in the cable
networks of Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Georgia. In addition,
the joint venture will act as a distribution agent for third-party channels.
With
the deal RTL Group will enter the nascent Russian satellite and cable TV
market, thereby strengthening its presence in one of the fastest growing
advertising markets.
In
2005, RTL Group acquired a 30 per cent shareholding in the terrestrial
TV network
Ren
TV which will continue to operate independently from the newly created
joint venture.
